Higher Road Growers is a sustainable urban farm based near Cleveland, Ohio, specializing in fresh, gourmet mushrooms grown indoors year-round. We cultivate premium varieties—including lion’s mane, oyster, and shiitake—in a carefully controlled environment designed to maximize quality, freshness, and consistency without the use of synthetic chemicals or harmful inputs.
As an indoor farm, we use efficient, low-impact methods to grow clean, nutrient-rich mushrooms close to the communities we serve. Our closed-loop systems reduce waste, conserve resources, and eliminate the need for long-distance transport—delivering exceptional mushrooms that are as responsible as they are delicious.
We created Higher Road Growers to offer a better alternative to industrial agriculture: local, transparent, and rooted in care. Whether you’re a home cook, a chef, or a farmers market shopper, our mushrooms are harvested at peak freshness and handled with integrity every step of the way.
You’ll find us at area markets, through our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program, and in select wholesale partnerships. No matter how you connect with us, our goal is the same—to help people eat well, support local, and choose a higher standard for food.
